Debeshi has over two decades of experience in communication and higher education having worked with print, television media (Business Standard, Business Today, Financial Chronicle) and organizations such as British Council, Canadian Education Centre Network among others. She set up Directions Online, an online education advisory that provides market intelligence and analysis of India's study abroad market for overseas clients such as USIEF, Singapore Tourism Board, Australian Education International. Debeshi's articles have appeared in Education Times (The Times of India), QS Quacquarelli Symonds among others.
